根據外交部的官方文章：《席近平》主席在2023年出訪越南的時候，《中共中央總書記》的英文翻譯是錯誤的，他偽冒自己是中國共產黨《中央委員會總書記》。但是今次在2025年，《中共中央總書記》的英文翻譯更改了。

2023：外交部文章標題有《席近平》主席的官銜（General Secretary and President ) 一詞：
