據台媒2月28日報道，27日，「台灣省」三字突然登上微博熱搜榜第一。原來是蘋果手機的地圖更新了台灣的定位資訊，將其更改為「台灣省」。對此，大陸網友紛紛轉發慶祝。
報導稱，大陸網友指出，如果只打開地圖，就只會看到「台北」，但只要搜尋「台灣省」，以及台灣的每個縣市，都會跳出「台灣省」三字。
